Reservation
We ask for ample time when placing your order. Please refer to these time frames:
3 - 5 days notice for all small orders
2 - 3 weeks notice for large orders
3 - 4 weeks notice for Custom cake orders
1 week notice for Mango Graham de Leche
3 months for Wedding Cakes
Any Custom orders that are placed less than the reservation time frames, will incur a rush order fee. Last minute regular orders will be considered depending on availability.
Cancellations
Cancellations 5+ days before your order due date will be given a full refund.
Cancellations 4 days before your order due date will be subject to store credit in the amount of your order total.
Cancellations within 3 days of your order due date will be non-refundable.
**Creating your order is a multi-day process of ordering inventory, baking, and designing. We are a small team of two people, and in order to efficiently fulfill orders, we must begin this process days before your order is due.
Pick-up and Deliveries
Coordinate Pick up/Delivery times upon reservation. Pick-up address will be provided once payment has been received. Sunday Delivery is not available for any regular orders. Sunday weddings can possibly be accommodated.
Handling
During delivery, if your order is damaged and/or unable to be delivered, a complimentary incentive will be given depending on the incident.
Caia Bakehouse can no longer be held liable for any damage caused after the order has been picked up or delivered.
If any emergency were to occur prior to delivery, another delivery will be attempted when available. If the order can no longer be delivered, a refund may be requested.
Payment
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit for all custom and large orders. The remaining balance will be due 7 days prior pick-up/delivery date. Full payment is required for custom orders booked less than 2 weeks prior to the event.
For small orders, we require payment at the time of reservation to secure your order upon receiving your order invoice.
Please note that custom orders are not confirmed without a deposit.
Method of Payment will be provided on the final invoice.
Refunds
We have a strict no-refund policy once the cake is delivered, picked up, or in the customers hands. All design choices are discussed via email and approval of the design is finalized when the invoice is paid. Completion of the design and choices made are completed cake artist. The cake artist specializes in bespoke cakes and no cakes shall be copied even with provided inspiration photos.
